Key Person
Every child is allocated a key person when they join the nursery to ensure they develop a special bond to look after all their needs whilst in the setting. The key person works very closely with the parents to provide continuity of care and build on interests displayed at home to encourage learning. Occasionally a child may gravitate towards a different member of staff, in which case the room leader will follow the child's lead and change the key person.
Our Staff
Kenleys recognises that the service we provide is only as good as the staff employed. We value our staff and most of our team have been working at Kenleys for several years, providing a loving, family atmosphere. We are staffed beyond the minimum requirement recommended by Ofsted, and have trained the majority of our own staff to continue to achieve our high standards of care and education. All areas of the Nurseries are populated with a high proportion of qualified Nursery Nurses who continue with their professional development.
Opening Times
The nursery is open from 7.30am – 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year. We only shut for public holidays.
Please note that our 7:30am start carries an additional charge and can be accessed on a pre-booked basis only.
