Parrots Room

Parrots is our preschool room with attached dining room where meals are taken in conjunction with the children from Peacocks.


The room is divided into areas to ensure children get a good range of activities, including music, small world, malleable, creative, home corner and construction. There is also a cosy area where children can settle down with a nice book and read with their friends or a staff member.


Parrots’ room changes regularly due to the activities it offers, and always includes periods of small group work where practitioners join in with the children’s play and scaffold their learning, encouraging listening and turn taking. Parrots also has its own outdoor area fully resourced for outdoor play.
