What a fantastic day we had on Saturday, with many of you arriving and enjoying the activities and opportunities for your children to take part in. We were very privileged to have the fire brigade arrive, then to leave and come back after being called out to a shout. Some children enjoyed climbing through the engine whilst others enjoyed wearing the safety hats that the crew wear.
There were many activities that were on offer, hook a duck, treasure map, pick a lolly, soft play, teddy tombola, tombola, hoopla, lucky dip, cake and bread stall, plant stall and as usual the face painting proved very popular as was the pets corner with guinea pigs, rabbit and some lavender Peking Bantams for the children to pet and hold.
We ran a name calling competition, and the new names for our Guinea Pigs are Please and Thank you and we will use sign language to support calling their names.
We do hope that you and your family enjoyed the event and would like to thank everyone for their support. The money raised has been put to good use already, and the new playhouse is on order and we are expecting it to arrive any day now, the fish tank is set up and will be ready to take fish on Monday 27th June.
Total money raise is £450.00, so a big thanks to everyone.
Raffle prizes to be claimed: ticket numbers: 393, 450, 514, 557, 768 & 793.
We hope that you enjoy seeing some of the pictures that are available at the front desk in the scrap book, and if you would like copies please see Alei.
